Cars & Coffee Kicks Off with a Resounding Downtown Debut
Downtown Lebanon’s first-ever Cars & Coffee event made quite the entrance, and the community responded in a big way. Held on the east side of Commercial Street, the evening gathering featured more than 40 vehicles and drew an estimated 300 attendees, confirming a strong interest in car culture and community connection.
The event was organized by Keith Russell and Cricket Staags of Ozark Empire Realty, who saw an opportunity to bring people downtown for a relaxed evening of conversation, coffee, and classic cars. From muscle cars and vintage cruisers to local families and curious visitors, the event brought out a diverse and enthusiastic crowd.
“We were blown away by the turnout,” said Keith Russell. “It’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a while, and it’s clear there’s real energy behind it.”
Based on the success of the first event, Cars & Coffee will now be held on the third Thursday of each month, with the next event scheduled for this month. It will kick off at the Farmers Market Pavilion, where multiple food trucks are planned, and will expand into the adjacent public parking areas as vehicles arrive. If turnout continues to grow, the event will wrap around onto East Commercial Street in the evening to accommodate more cars.
Consumers who would like to check out the vehicles or visit the food trucks are encouraged to park in the public lot just across the tracks, provided by the City of Lebanon for downtown visitors.
With confident expectations of drawing 40 to 60 cars each time, the organizers are working closely with Downtown Lebanon to fine-tune layout and logistics to support this growing event. Cars & Coffee is already becoming a summer staple—offering something fun, free, and welcoming in the heart of the community.
Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll see you downtown on the third Thursday of the month.
